SINOPSE:
A realizadora Lipa Hussain interroga-se sobre uma doença neurológica que experimentou desde a infância e os paralelos com as suas próprias lutas religiosas e raciais. A síndrome de Alice no País das Maravilhas provoca a sensação de encolher e perder o controlo do corpo.
SYNOPSIS:
Filmmaker Lipa Hussain interrogates a neurological condition she has experienced since childhood and the parallels it represents with her own religious and racial struggles. Alice In Wonderland syndrome causes the sensation of shrinking and losing bodily control. The film explores the idea of utilising AIW to confront an enemy from Lipa’s past.

Lipa Hussain é uma cineasta escocesa cuja curta-metragem de estreia, Press Key Five, ganhou o prémio de melhor drama no Ealing Film Festival em 2022. Embora ainda esteja no início do seu percurso cinematográfico, tem encontrado muita alegria em contar histórias que provocam discussão e emoção. Roll Down the Window é a sua primeira aventura no género de documentário experimental.

Lipa Hussain is a Scottish based filmmaker her debut short film Press Key Five won best drama at Ealing Film Festival in 2022. Whilst she is still early in her filmmaking journey, she has found a lot of joy in telling stories that provoke discussion and emotion. Roll Down the Window is her first venture into the experimental documentary genre.
