SINOPSE:
“Cataract” é um documentário a preto e branco sobre três mulheres fortes que sempre tiveram uma vida difícil. Apesar do tédio da vida quotidiana e da sensação de impotência, elas continuam a tentar encontrar o sentido do mundo que as rodeia. O filme explora temas existenciais e o conceito de felicidade.
SYNOPSIS:
“Cataract” is a black-and-white documentary film about three strong women who always had it rough. Despite the tedium of everyday life and the sense of helplessness, they still try to find the meaning in the world around them. The film explores existential themes and the concept of happiness.

Łukasz Iwanicz é um realizador e fotógrafo polaco que vive em Varsóvia. Formou-se na Escola de Cinema de Varsóvia. Estreou-se com uma curta-metragem documental 7 words about passing away (2022) no 62º Festival de Cinema de Cracóvia. O filme foi incluído no catálogo “New Polish Shorts 2022” publicado pelo Instituto Polaco de Cinema.

Łukasz Iwanicz is a Polish director and photographer based in Warsaw. He graduated from the Warsaw Film School. He made his debut with a short documentary film 7 words about passing away (2022) at the 62nd Krakow Film Festival. Film was included in the „New Polish Shorts 2022” catalog published by the Polish Film Institute.
