SINOPSE:
O fungo Microsphaerella dearnessi, que afecta a variedade de pinheiro insigne, manchou de castanho os bosques do País Basco, infectando inclusivamente o bosque pintado de Oma, obra de arte do artista basco Agustin Ibarrola. Esta obra pertence ao movimento Land Art, que se caracteriza principalmente pelo seu carácter efémero. Dentro deste movimento, os artistas deixam as suas obras expostas à mercê das condições climatéricas e de outros elementos que escapam ao controlo humano.
SYNOPSIS:
The fungus Microsphaerella dearnessi, which affects the insigne pine variety, has stained the forests of the Basque Country brown, even infecting the painted forest of Oma, the artwork of the Basque artist Agustin Ibarrola. This work belongs to the Land Art movement, which is mainly characterised by its ephemeral nature. Within this movement, artists leave their works on display at the mercy of weather conditions and other elements beyond human control.

BIO PT:
Licenciado em Cinema pela Universidade Camilo José Cela (Madrid) e Mestre em Cinematografia pela Universidade de Córdoba. Em 2023 concluiu a pós-graduação em Criação Cinematográfica na Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) onde desenvolveu a curta-metragem A Terceira Paisagem, que estreou no Festival Internacional de Cinema de San Sebastian.
BIO ENG:
Graduated in Film from Camilo José Cela University (Madrid) and Master in Cinematography from the University of Córdoba. In 2023 he completed the postgraduate degree in Film Creation at the Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) where he developed the short film The Third Landscape, which premiered at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
