We are thrilled to announce the curatorial team for the 2025 edition of the DOC.Coimbra International Documentary Film Festival, made up of a diverse selection of professionals from the fields of film and the arts.
The curators face the challenge of selecting and programming the films that will shape the festival’s second edition. With a keen eye on the past and a sensitivity to contemporary issues, they seek documentaries that employ visual poetry, archival material, and unique stories hidden in time. Prioritizing diverse perspectives and using cinema as a tool for transformation, the curatorial team aims to inspire a transformative experience for participants of DOC.Coimbra 2025.
You may submit your own documentary until November 30. For documentaries still in the early stages of development, we invite you to apply to our project lab, DOC.LAB, until February 2.
We’re excited to have you join us at DOC.Coimbra 2025, happening from March 25 to 30!
